Omanoot is an non-profit organization formed to promote and teach Israel through classic and contemporary Israeli art. Israeli music, film, photography and other works created by Israeli artists serve as a lens into this multifaceted country, its evolving culture, its origins, the people and the issues they face. Omanoot, which means 'art' in Hebrew, aims to incorporate these lessons into relevant, insightful and innovative curriculum focused on Israeli art to be in used inside and outside of Israel. Omanoot will help promote Israeli art in the world by becoming the Internet's premier source for Israeli art. Offering a variety of old and new Israeli music, film, photography, etc., the site will also serve as a one-stop shop for anyone interested in Israeli culture and for teachers who will be able to purchase innovative lesson plans and the relevant works of art quickly and affordably.
